  • Queen Mother of the West questioned Marshal Tianpeng and several heavenly generals and learned that the Jade Emperor and the other leaders were dead.

Ji Shu took control of the Heavenly Court and studied its Immortal Realm Library while Bodhisattva Samantabhadra arrived unaware of the Jade Emperor's defeat. The Four Heavenly Kings captured Samantabhadra, and Taishang Laojun explained the new order before leaving him bound and bewildered.

  • Ji Shu ordered the Heavenly Court's gods to obey his new rules, then went to the Immortal Realm Library and began reading its martial arts manuals.

  • Taishang Laojun told Ji Shu that Black and White Impermanence were capturing a mortal, and Ji Shu went to the mortal realm with Thousand-Mile Eye and Favorable Wind Ear’s help.

Ji Shu consolidated his rule over the Underworld, mastered eleven Dao Attainment Methods, and sent Xu Xian back to life. He then traveled in King Yama’s guise toward the Buddhist Realm, where Golden Summit Great Immortal greeted him at Spirit Mountain.

  • Ji Shu promulgated new laws, unified the Underworld with the aid of its officials, and quickly fused eleven Dao Fruits after collecting the ghosts’ and gods’ secret methods.

  • Ji Shu arrived at the Great Thunderclap Temple disguised as King Yama, and no one dared stop his carriage.
  • Tathagata Buddha led Ji Shu to a heavily protected secret place, suspecting he had come to discuss Ji Shu’s rapid advancement.

As the human world began to prosper under Fu Tianchou, Yan Chixia took up his post as Judicial God of Heaven, while Fu Qingfeng and Fu Yuechi began cultivating immortality.

  • Xin Shisi Niang brought her family to the Heavenly Court, where Old Man Xin and Old Woman Xin received posts, while Hu Mei envied her sister and schemed to get close to Ji Shu.

  • Li Taibai argued with Divine Brush Ma Liang about supporting Ji Shu, and Marshal Tianpeng ordered the Heavenly Soldiers and Generals to kill Ma Liang and capture his Primordial Spirit.
