Ji Shu learned that Six-Eared Macaque had been forced to cooperate with Guanyin Bodhisattva and Tathagata Buddha, and he realized that capturing him had disrupted their plan.

  • Great Strength Vajra threatened Ao Run for the truth about Sun Wukong, but Ao Run maintained his story and revealed nothing.

Ji Shu learned that the ancient sacred races had been forced to suppress the world’s veins, then cultivated rapidly with Xuanwu’s help and reached the Heavenly Court in search of a phoenix’s source qi. He found a chained phoenix in the Peach Garden and introduced himself, having entered the garden without raising an alarm.

  • Ji Shu learned from Xuanwu that demons were sacrificed to slow the seepage of Calamity Qi and that the Xuanwu, phoenixes, and White Tigers were being used to suppress the world’s veins and spiritual forces.
  • With Xuanwu drawing in source earth qi, Ji Shu cultivated to the perfection of the Earth Immortal realm in a day, then received directions to a place where he might find a phoenix.

The Heavenly Court discovered that the Peach Garden’s three thousand six hundred trees were gone, and Nezha and Taibai Jinxing set out to find Sun Wukong and demand an explanation.

  • Ji Shu refined and took Taishang Laojun’s treasures, swept Tushita Palace clean, and removed the palace itself.
  • Green Ox found Tushita Palace gone and fought with Golden Horn King and Silver Horn King over who was responsible.
