Ji Shu took Xia He in after learning that her Innate Ability had brought danger and loss throughout her life, then examined her and began teaching her cultivation. After nine days, Xia He learned to control her ability and entered the Fundamental Law, and Ji Shu arranged for Feng Baobao to teach her the Six Treasury Immortal Thief.

• Xia He told Ji Shu and the others how her uncontrollable Desire ability had led to her relatives' deaths and left her alone after her grandfather died.
