The chapter ended with Ji Shu killing Yin without learning his cultivation techniques or much about Yin’s former world.

A swarm of giant bats arrived after he drew the woman’s mysterious sword, and Ji Shu escaped with her into the mountain’s darkness.

  • Boss Nian vowed to avenge A Zi and sent Ye Erniang and Lin Feng after the bandit who killed her.
  • Ji Shu carried Lu Xueqi at increasing speed and told her that he was a Player.
  • Lu Xueqi said Players had begun arriving eight years earlier, first in small numbers and more recently in groups.

Ch. 135Independent Player, Quan Guanqing Arrives

Ji Shu learned more about Players from Lu Xueqi and helped her recover while they traveled toward Qingyun Mountain. Their journey ended in a confrontation with Quan Guanqing and Zhaixingzi, and Ji Shu launched a counterattack.

  • Lu Xueqi explained that Players had conquered the world of Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils five or six years earlier, and Ji Shu identified himself as an Independent Player.
  • Ji Shu carried Lu Xueqi through the night as she grew increasingly self-conscious around him.

As Lu Xueqi resolved to recruit him into the righteous sect, Wild Dog Daoist and Boss Nian pursued the pair, determined to capture the killer of their companions.
