Mount Sumeru, a vast sea of clouds, bathed in Buddhist light.
The two Sages, Jieyin and Zhunti, sat upon lotus thrones in the void. As their lips moved, endless true words of the Great Dao flowed forth. Annihilation True Meaning and the Dao rhythm of Saha blanketed the entire Spirit Mountain.
Below them, the Three Buddhas of the Three Ages sat in solemn command, with the Twelve Bodhisattvas arranged on either side. Thousands of Arhats and novice monks listened quietly to the teachings. Buddhism was vast and majestic, its order impeccable.
After a long while, Jieyin slowly withdrew his Dao voice. His gentle gaze swept over the monks below as he softly said, "You may all withdraw for now."
Though the disciples of Buddhism were puzzled and did not understand why the Sages had dismissed everyone without cause, none dared speak out. They pressed their palms together in salute, rose in succession, and retreated. Within moments, the area was completely empty.
Above the sea of clouds on Spirit Mountain, only the two Sages, Jieyin and Zhunti, remained seated opposite one another.
Jieyin's gaze was distant as he looked toward the Nine Provinces of the Human Realm, his expression solemn. "Junior Brother, Buddhism's great momentum has now taken shape, and a thousand years of prosperity are assured. But if we are to truly take root in the Primordial Wilderness, we still need one final opportunity to rise. Your Bodhi incarnation must enter the world and go to the Human Realm to make arrangements."
Zhunti's brows immediately furrowed at those words.
Bodhi Daoist was an incarnation Zhunti had nurtured with all his effort. Though he did not possess the complete Dao Fruit of a Sage, he had already reached the Perfected Primordial Golden Immortal Realm. His foundation was profound, his uses countless,
