Ch. 342Immortal Court Compromises
After centuries outside and ten thousand years inside the Primordial River Luo Array, Kunpeng negotiated the Immortal Court's release by surrendering half its destiny and swearing a Heavenly Dao oath. The Immortal Court's River of Destiny stabilized, and Kunpeng led his weakened people away to retreat to Yingzhou Island.
- The Primordial River Luo Array drained the imprisoned Primordial Origin Golden Immortals, and several dozen Immortal Court members fell while Kunpeng struggled to resist the demon spears.
- Di Jun and Tai Yi appeared before the prisoners and renewed Di Jun's offer to release factions that surrendered one-tenth of their destiny.
- Kunpeng offered one-tenth of the Immortal Court's destiny, but Di Jun refused and insisted he would destroy the Immortal Court.
- Kunpeng threatened that the Immortal Court's Primordial Origin Golden Immortals would self-detonate and devastate the East Sea, so Di Jun agreed to accept half the Immortal Court's destiny in exchange for a ten-Eon nonaggression promise.
- Kunpeng and Di Jun swore their agreement before the Heavenly Dao, and Di Jun released the Immortal Court members from the array as half their River of Destiny passed to him.
- Kunpeng watched the River of Destiny stabilize, then led the wounded Immortal Court away toward Yingzhou Island to recuperate.
