"Alright. With the Summoning Scroll, you'll be able to capture a Summoning Beast."

After watching Uchiha Yoichi finish making the Summoning Scroll, Kakashi asked about the mission. "We should get started on the mission now, right?"

"What's the rush? This mission isn't difficult anyway."

Uchiha Yoichi looked over the Summoning Scroll in his hand with satisfaction. After putting it away, he said to Kakashi, "How did the intelligence gathering go?"

"More or less done. This is a detailed map of the area around Iwata Kumaji's home. But he seems to have noticed that someone is coming after him, so there are four additional Grass ninja there now."

Kakashi took out a map and laid it on the table, then explained the intelligence he had gathered over the past few days.

Iwata Kumaji was, after all, a minister of the Land of Grass—and one close to the Land of Earth. Once he sensed that someone might make a move against him, naturally he would hire more guards.

There had already been more than a dozen samurai and six hired Rogue Ninja in his home. Now that four more Grass ninja had been added, the security was theoretically at its maximum.

"I tried using ninjutsu near the Iwata Family estate, but no one reacted. They probably don't have any Sensor Ninja, though I haven't seen them fight, so I can't determine their specific types."

After hearing this, Uchiha Yoichi put on the air of a senior freeloading off his junior and patted Kakashi's shoulder. "Good work. The intelligence isn't perfectly comprehensive, but this is already very good."

Kakashi rolled his eyes. "What now?"

"First, we change identities. Remember, from now on, you're Cloud Ninja Killer B in the Land of Grass, and I'm Cloud Ninja Dodai. Go buy two sets of clothes later and change out of those Konoha Ninja Suits."

As he spoke, Uchiha Yoichi took two Cloud Ninja forehead protectors from his ninja tool pouch. He had obtained them during an earlier mission.

"This warehouse is where the Iwata Family stores food and medicine, which Iwata Kumaji plans to sell to the Land of Earth. Just so happens, while gathering intelligence, my Shadow Clone ran into two people from the Land of Earth. The Iwata Family respectfully escorted them into a hotel."

"Tomorrow night, blow this place up. Then our real bodies will transform into people from the Land of Earth and go question Iwata Kumaji. Don't say anything when the time comes. Leave everything to me."

"Then have the Shadow Clones appear suddenly. Your Shadow Clone will use Lightning Release Ninjutsu to draw the attention of those cannon-fodder ninja at Iwata Kumaji's house, while my Shadow Clone goes after the Grass ninja!"

"Once their attention has been drawn away by the Shadow Clones, we'll undo the Transformation Technique and kill Iwata Kumaji as Cloud Ninja! Remember, when you leave, shout my identity—Cloud Ninja Dodai. Got it, Killer B?"

"Oh, and remember to throw away your forehead protector while you're fleeing in panic."

After hearing this whole string of arrangements, Kakashi's head was spinning, but he still committed every word Uchiha Yoichi said to memory.

Once Kakashi carefully went over it all again, he felt that the plan linked together step by step. Once it began, it would be like fishing, steadily dragging Iwata Kumaji into the net.

In the end, they would even pin the blame on the Cloud Ninja. If the Land of Earth found out, they definitely wouldn't connect it to Konoha.

"I really did pick the right team by teaming up with you, Captain."

Kakashi then went off to prepare according to Uchiha Yoichi's instructions.

Uchiha Yoichi did not idle around either. Taking the map and intelligence Kakashi had provided, he prepared to conduct another round of reconnaissance.

For a ninja's survival, intelligence came first. As long as the intelligence was accurate and preparations were made beforehand, even someone below Super Kage level could be crippled.

That was why Uchiha Yoichi always carefully verified his intelligence when carrying out missions. This world made it far too easy to die; he could not afford to be careless.

Uchiha Yoichi also made use of the Ninja World's technology. Telescopes had long existed in the Ninja World, but they were rarely seen among ninja. The last time he left the village, he had found a craftsman and commissioned a twenty-power telescope.

It could see roughly two to three Kilometers away. As long as there were no obstructions, it was better than many Byakugan.

After confirming that there were no problems with the route on the map, Uchiha Yoichi found a relatively high location and used the telescope to observe the activity within the Iwata Family estate.

". . . Red hair? And what kind of ninjutsu is she using?"

Uchiha Yoichi spotted a suspicious Grass ninja. After watching for a while, he noticed that the Grass ninja seemed to cast a technique at regular intervals, with a frequency somewhat similar to Sensory Ninjutsu.

"If she really is a sensory-type ninja, then wouldn't Kakashi have been discovered? Still, it's better to test it."

Uchiha Yoichi then created a Shadow Clone and sent it near the Iwata Family estate, where it used ninjutsu once more.

This time, Uchiha Yoichi watched very carefully from a distance. As soon as his Shadow Clone finished using the technique, two Grass ninja emerged from the Iwata Family estate with the red-haired female Grass ninja and rushed toward the Shadow Clone's location.

"So she really is a sensory-type ninja. Red hair, a woman... could she be Karin's Mother?"

After dispelling the Shadow Clone, Uchiha Yoichi fell into thought. Sensor Ninja were extremely rare; even Konoha did not have many. Kusagakure having a few would already be a blessing.

And she had red hair as well.

"The plan needs a slight change. That female ninja will be a target too. We'll take her first, then question her properly."

If she really was Karin's Mother, then her abilities were simply too valuable.

Powerful healing abilities, sensory abilities, and perhaps even the latent potential for Adamantine Sealing.

"I may need to alter the plan. I'll go back and discuss it with Kakashi first."

Uchiha Yoichi had originally planned to kill Iwata Kumaji, frame the Cloud Ninja, and leave. Now, he would have to abduct an additional female ninja.

When Kakashi returned, Uchiha Yoichi told him his idea. However, he only mentioned that the red-haired female Grass ninja was a Sensor Ninja and said nothing about the possibility of her possessing Uzumaki Clan abilities.

"Captain, isn't it a little inappropriate to snatch a woman during a mission? I suggest waiting until after the mission—"

"Kakashi, failing to see your captain's intentions is wrong. Suspecting your captain of having bad intentions is even more wrong."

Uchiha Yoichi snorted and continued.

"You don't understand this female ninja's value. I'll verify it carefully after we take her, but for now, do as I say. Let's rearrange the plan. Delay the timing, and give me your Explosive Tags while you're at it."

Uchiha Yoichi held out his hand to Kakashi for the Explosive Tags. Though there were tales of human bombs in the Ninja World, using them against the Grass ninja should catch them off guard.

Even if it failed, it would still give them a scare.

After carefully discussing the division of tasks, Uchiha Yoichi disguised himself and headed out.

He had happened to learn Sharingan Genjutsu before this mission. He could not claim a one-hundred-percent success rate when controlling ninja, but against wandering samurai, Uchiha Yoichi had absolute confidence.
