"Clan Head, something's wrong."
Uchiha Fugaku had originally planned to rest at home today, but Uchiha Kanbayashi hurried over. The moment he entered, he said anxiously, "Uchiha Yoichi captured someone from the Shimura clan, along with two Root Ninja. He's already brought them to the Security Force for interrogation!"
"What?"
At the news, not only Uchiha Fugaku froze—even Uchiha Mikoto, who had just brought over the tea, was stunned. Even if she was no longer a Ninja, she still knew the Shimura clan's standing in the village, let alone the involvement of Root.
Uchiha Fugaku clenched his fists. "What does Uchiha Yoichi think he's doing?"

Uchiha Fugaku rose at once. He did not even have time to change his clothes before following Uchiha Kanbayashi outside.
Around the same time, Second Elder Uchiha Kenji received the news as well. After hearing what Masato had reported, Uchiha Kenji could not help laughing.
"He's only a teenager, yet he has such courage. His thoughts are meticulous, and he didn't blindly rush in to take revenge. Very good. But since Young Yoichi wants to make a fuss, then let's make it bigger."
"Rie, have Young Yokokawa go help as well. He only needs to do what Masato did."
Uchiha Yokokawa was a fairly renowned member of the Uchiha Clan and Masato's cousin. He was also Uchiha Kenji's nephew. However, because of his explosive temper, he had made some rash moves on the battlefield in the past, so he had returned to the Security Force as a squad leader.
The Third Shinobi World War had not yet begun, and the Second Shinobi World War had ended long ago. By now, the Uchiha Clan had gained quite a few more Ninja.
The Security Force had three hundred people and four squads. Two of the squad leaders belonged to the Second Elder's faction, and that did not even include the Ninja within the clan.
At this time, there was no need to question the Uchiha's strength. After the decline of Senju, the Uchiha became Konoha's foremost Ninja Clan.
Now, the various factions were stirring, and basically everyone was rushing toward the Security Force.

"That won't happen, Lord Danzo."
Uchiha Fugaku used Body Flicker to arrive before Hiruzen Sarutobi. After nodding in greeting, he said, "There must be some misunderstanding here, Lord Hokage. Let me handle it."
Danzo sneered coldly. "Let you handle it? Uchiha Fugaku, if you could command the Security Force, this situation wouldn't have happened in the first place. You—"
"That's enough, Danzo. I trust Young Fugaku."
Hiruzen Sarutobi rebuked Danzo while secretly cursing him for being an idiot. Is this really the time to sow division?
Danzo, however, did not see it that way. He was a staunch member of the Militant Faction, and when it came to the Uchiha question, he had completely inherited Senju Tobirama's prejudice.
Hiruzen is too weak. This is the time to suppress the Uchiha harshly and crush this dangerous sign before it can grow! If I were Hokage, this would never happen in the village.
"Let's go, Young Fugaku. We'll head to the Security Force together and clear up this misunderstanding!"
With that, Hiruzen Sarutobi gestured for Uchiha Fugaku to lead the way. The group set out at once and soon arrived at the Security Force headquarters.
Once they arrived, Uchiha Fugaku immediately noticed something was off. Normally, two squads of the Security Force took turns standing guard, but the members who should have been resting today had all come here.
"Yokokawa, why are you here?"
"Clan Head, the Second Elder said this place might need help, so he sent me to take a look."
Uchiha Yokokawa answered nonchalantly. Then, after noticing Hiruzen Sarutobi behind Uchiha Fugaku, he asked, "Lord Hokage, you came too?"
"I came to take a look. The Security Force captured some people today. There must be some misunderstanding."
"Misunderstanding? No, no, Lord Hokage. There's no misunderstanding whatsoever. Not only does the Security Force have solid evidence, but the people captured today were communicating secretly with the Stone Ninja!"
After Uchiha Yoichi walked out of the Security Force, he spoke slowly. As he did, he glanced at Shimura Danzo and then sneered at him.
"Lord Hokage, we still don't know how many people from the Shimura clan are involved. I think the Security Force should arrest everyone in the Shimura clan. As for Lord Danzo himself... well, a disciple of the Second Hokage is unlikely to betray the village. But Lord Danzo had better prove his innocence and go to the Interrogation Squad voluntarily!"
As soon as he finished speaking, Shimura Danzo's face darkened so much it seemed water might drip from it.
How many years had he served as Hokage's Assistant? Who in the village dared speak to him like this?
And he wanted him to go to the Interrogation Squad? What gave this Uchiha brat the right to say that?
Shimura Danzo's heart burned with fury, and his gaze toward Uchiha Yoichi was filled with killing intent. However, he knew he could do nothing to him inside the Security Force. More importantly, he first had to get his people back.
"Go. Bring them back!"
Shimura Danzo gave the order coldly. Right now, he only wanted to take his people away. As for this damned Uchiha, he would have plenty of opportunities to settle accounts with him later!

Uchiha Yoichi drew Lightning Fang Ninja Sword from its sheath. In the next instant, powerful arcs of lightning crackled over his body.
"Anyone who trespasses into the Security Force will be treated as a spy and a rogue Ninja. Kill them on the spot!"
His tone was decisive and utterly resolute. Then Uchiha Yoichi sneered at Danzo. "I know Lord Danzo has plenty of death soldiers under him, but there's no need to use this method to test my determination to protect Konoha. Once I say something, I will! Absolutely! Do it!"
"If Lord Danzo doesn't believe me, then keep sending them over!"
After saying this, Uchiha Yoichi narrowed his eyes slightly. His blood-red pupils spun rapidly, and Two Tomoe rotated within them. Wrapped in lightning, Lightning Fang Ninja Sword looked as though it could slash down at any moment.
Danzo's face turned ashen with fury. He was so angry that he nearly crushed the cane in his hand.
Then, gnashing his teeth, he said to Uchiha Fugaku, "Uchiha Clan Head, this is the Security Force!"
Hearing this, Uchiha Fugaku thought that they truly could not allow the situation to worsen any further. He had also noticed the displeasure on Hiruzen Sarutobi's face.
Thus, Uchiha Fugaku walked toward the Security Force and sternly said to Uchiha Yoichi as he did, "Yoichi, let me take the people away first. I'll handle this matter."
Crackle, crackle, crackle!
Before Uchiha Fugaku could finish speaking, Lightning Fang's lightning-wreathed blade swept across the space before him. Before he could angrily explode, he saw the icy look in Uchiha Yoichi's eyes.
"Clan Head, don't test whether I'll strike. Why not have the Root Ninja try? Let's see whether, if they force their way into the Security Force, this Lightning Fang of mine will cut off their heads!
"Or have Lord Danzo try it himself. Let's see whether my Lightning Fang will hesitate!"
After Uchiha Yoichi finished speaking, the dozen or so Security Force members behind him almost seemed to receive a signal. They activated their Sharingan at the same time.
Some had Two Tomoe, while quite a few had Three-Tomoe!
More than a dozen pairs of blood-red eyes brought considerable pressure to everyone present.
At that moment, quite a few Uchiha Clan members also emerged from the Security Force headquarters. They silently stood behind the clan members who had just activated their Sharingan, without saying a word.
The atmosphere instantly fell to freezing point!
