Earth Bear Gates

By evening, Uchiha Yoichi and Uzumaki Mina quietly left Konoha again.

If he summoned an Exotic Beast that was difficult to tame this time, Uchiha Yoichi would give up the next two Random Summons and permanently summon a Magic Goat instead, adding a few "veterans" to his farm.

Uchiha Yoichi shook his head. "No need. I'll just have the remaining injuries checked at the hospital tomorrow. Maybe I won't even need to go."

When Uchiha Yoichi reached the Earth Bear, he crouched down and asked, "What's your name?"

After beating the Earth Bear into submission and signing a Summoning Contract with it, the Earth Bear had spat another sphere of light at him. Once the sphere entered Uchiha Yoichi's body, he discovered that he could communicate with the Earth Bear.

This Earth Bear was named Gates. It had been sleeping in the Monster Mountain Range moments ago, only to suddenly arrive here the next second.

That sphere of light had been Gates's Soul Contract. It allowed master and servant to sense each other's locations, and it also enabled communication through their souls.

However, once Gates reached adulthood, it would be able to speak human language.

"Rest for a while before we head back. I'll find a medical Ninja to treat your injuries. She's one of my people too. Mina can teach you some basic knowledge about the Ninja World later."

"Roar!"
