Qin He withdrew his divine sense from the Mustard Seed Space. After walking a stretch both upstream and downstream without finding anything else, he transformed and headed deeper into the nether soil.
He walked for a long, long time.
Empty. Other than emptiness, there was still only emptiness.
There was almost nothing to use as a reference. If Qin He had not left behind several Marking Techniques, he would most likely have gotten lost by now.
Qin He could not make head or tail of it. There was nothing here—what kind of setup was this?
Those drowned corpses by the broken bridge, and the ferocious creatures in the Weak Water?
That counted, perhaps, but how should he put it?
A door-opening kill?
They opened with something huge, then there was not even a fart across this whole vast stretch afterward?
Qin He refused to believe it. He simply decided to take to the skies and burrow into the earth.
First, he flew upward, Cloud Riding and Mist Driving toward the pitch-black sky.
He soon discovered that this place had an extremely powerful air-forbidding restriction. The higher he flew, the stronger the obstructing restriction became.
After flying a hundred zhang into the air, Qin He had no choice but to stop.
Neither his vision nor his senses found anything.
Then came burrowing underground. He swung the Big Black Shovel and dug, dug, dug, excavating a massive pit—only to find nothing at all.
The nether soil was boundless, and who knew how many thousands of li deep it went.
Helpless, Qin He could only climb out of the pit and continue onward.
A full one or two hours later, something different finally appeared ahead.
Qin He could not help growing excited. From afar, it seemed to be a thatched hut.
