Excitement surged through Qin He's heart. Without another word, he immediately charged over.
Corpses had always been Qin He's greatest love.
In the bitterly cold wilderness of Sin City, nothing warmed Qin He's heart more than a corpse.
If there was, it could only be because the corpse had been ruined by some evil creature.
So he had to move fast.
The evil creatures that escaped from the Demon Abyss were extraordinarily vicious. Once they killed their targets, the next step was destroying the corpses by every means imaginable.
Biting them was the most primitive method. Some seized the corpses, some corroded them into puddles of pus, some hacked them into eight pieces, and some planted seeds inside them...
Qin He raced like the wind.
When they saw white light shooting into the sky, Night Watchmen would usually assume defensive stances and investigate with the utmost caution. The more timid ones would simply turn around and leave.
Someone like Qin He, rushing eagerly toward the excitement—
There was no second one in all of Sin City.
It could not be helped. Great Immortal Green Ox desperately needed corpses right now.
Before long, Qin He sprinted to where the white light had risen. The first thing he saw was a massive Demonic Beast, shaped like a camel beast. Its bristles stood erect, every strand like a steel needle. Its belly seemed filled with magma, black smoke billowing from its entire body, while wisps of green flame spewed from its mouth and nose. It was gnawing on a blood-soaked corpse, half of it charred black.
Memories of this sort of Demonic Beast flashed rapidly through Qin He's mind, only for him to discover... nothing.
He had never seen one before, not even in illustrations.
But what did it matter what it was?
