Perhaps sensing the three men's weakness, the endless White Silk began to whirl even faster.
Like a tide, the Vengeful Spirits howled and shrieked as they surged toward the three.
The three drew their last breath, gritted their teeth, and prepared to fight to the death.
"Roar!"
In that instant, it was as though the entire world had been shaken by that roar. It sounded like a dragon's cry, yet also like a great bell tolling; its majestic force resembled raging waves upon an angry sea, like heaven and earth collapsing.
The roar was so soul-shaking that their bodies trembled involuntarily. Every hair on their bodies seemed stirred by an immense force, quivering violently like ripples upon water.
This thunderous sound shot through everything around it like lightning. Neither air, objects, nor any other sound could block its spread.
Though it seemed intangible and elusive, it possessed real, solid power, making its presence unmistakably felt.
In an instant, countless Vengeful Spirits and vicious ghosts seemed to be struck by an overwhelming force. They exploded at once, turning into fragments of nothingness, as though they had never existed at all.
At the same time, the Vengeful Spirit wall woven from White Silk began to shake violently, letting out cracking sounds. As the noise rang out, every part of the wall began to split apart. The once-solid wall became shattered beyond recognition in the blink of an eye, finally dissolving into nothingness just like those Vengeful Spirits and ghosts.
Looking around, the place that had been occupied by the Vengeful Spirits, ghosts, and their wall now stood empty, without the slightest trace left behind, as though nothing had ever happened here.
The three stood frozen in place. At the far end of their sight, countless strips of White Silk seemed
