There were still three days until the Zonderirik Empire's once-every-five-years Ten Kings Gathering Conference, but the ten kings who ruled this vast empire had already all arrived aboard Floating Warships with their retainers.
At the very center of this magnificent circular city stood a grand round hall, golden at its foundation and silver along its walls, resplendent in gold and jade. Within it, ten incomparably noble Children of God laughed and talked freely.
Every king was as tall and powerfully built as a marble statue, with dazzlingly handsome features. Seated upon their respective thrones, they looked like ten gods who had stepped out of an epic, making the lowly mortals present unable to meet their gaze.
Yet these holy and majestic figures were not discussing affairs of state or the livelihood of their people. Instead, like a pack of idle rich playboys, they drank and made merry to their hearts' content.

String instruments, woodwinds, brass instruments, percussion instruments—countless wonderful instruments of unknown kinds played boundlessly cheerful melodies beneath the musicians' hands.
A group of beautiful female slaves, wreaths upon their heads and white gauze dresses draped around them, danced in the open space at the center of the round hall, where soft carpets and fresh flower petals had been laid. Their graceful waists swayed to the music, and the silver bells on their wrists and ankles rang with sweet chimes.
