There were rigorously structured three bays and seven purlins, painted beams and carved rafters, upturned eaves and bracket sets, adorned inside and out with brightly colored gilded paintings and brick-and-stone carvings;
There were also skyscrapers that combined alloy frameworks, reinforced glass, horizontal balconies, sunrooms, transparent sightseeing elevators, and other elements.
Although the city had been claimed by the dazzling jungle, the harmonious union of classical and futuristic styles still deeply shocked everyone, Evan included.

He not only took in the entire island at a glance, but also saw the enormous ruins of a city at the island's far end, already submerged underwater.
The alloy structures from an advanced civilization had not decayed in the slightest even after millions of years.
It was as though time had completely stopped on them over the past five epochs.
Clearly, this city had once been the home of the "Primordial Civilization." Yet aside from that God of Fantasy, Evan found no Epoch Remnants here like those of the ancient civilizations outside.
