When Shindo Hikaru opened his eyes and looked at the pristine white ceiling, his expression was dazed and confused.
It seemed like something had happened, but he could not quite remember.
He turned his head and looked around, realizing that this place resembled a hospital room.
The reason he said resembled was because the room was far too luxurious. Even hotels did not look like this, did they?
If not for the strange medical equipment beside him, he would never have thought of it as a hospital room.
"Hikaru-kun, you're finally awake!"
"Are you all right? You suddenly passed out."
"What happened?"
Shindo Hikaru waking up had clearly caught the attention of the people beside him—his worried parents and grandfather.
Although the doctor had said that the tests showed everything was normal, they were still deeply concerned.
Only after his relatives all started talking at once did Shindo Hikaru barely regain his senses.
He learned that he had fainted at his grandfather's house. By chance, a gentleman who had come to discuss business with his grandfather had found him and sent him to the hospital.
"Huh? Someone wants to buy all of Grandpa's watermelon harvest?"
When Shindo Hikaru hazily heard the news, he was rather surprised.
Although he was only an elementary school student, he understood the value and importance of the crops in his grandfather's fields. This really was a major deal. With an order like this, his family's standard of living would improve by quite a lot.
"Haha, since he saved you, Grandpa even sold it to him at a discount. Still, I'll be making a lot of money."
Seeing that his grandson had awakened, Shindo Hikaru's grandfather was in high spirits as well.
Before, they had all gathered by the bed because they
