Even the fuel tanks had exploded, and a Mushroom Cloud had risen. The fierce blaze was spotted by the armored vehicles that had just arrived at the television station entrance and the helicopters circling overhead.
Seeing that it was coming from the base and being unable to establish contact, they all realized that something major had happened.
Having lost the command of the highest-ranking officials, they were at a loss in the face of the situation.
Should they continue with their mission to rescue the minister, or return to rescue the base?
What was happening at the base? Had the fuel tanks merely exploded due to an operational error, or was it something else?

Though the commander leading this operation wore an ugly expression, he still issued his orders loudly.
It was not because he was particularly noble and willing to abandon his own home for an ally.
It was because he knew that if something truly threatened the base, his small force would be useless if they went back. And if it was just a fuel tank explosion, they would only be going back to fight fires, perhaps even getting caught in a secondary blast.
In comparison, the rescue mission was much easier.
Since that was the case, it was naturally better to continue with the task at hand.
