Ares seemed to have fallen back into the state he had been in when he slaughtered the gods.
He was completely impossible to reason or communicate with.
Surging divine power sent Diana flying about like a ping-pong ball.
If Diana had not awakened divine power as well, and if not for the divine artifacts protecting her all over, she would have been dead long ago.
Yet even now, Diana looked exceedingly battered, as though she had no ability to fight back against him at all.
They clearly both possessed divine power, and the gap in quality was not that great, so why was there such an enormous difference in quantity?
How was she supposed to kill something like this?

Seeing Ares become enveloped in lightning once more before charging at her with a heavy punch, Diana gritted her teeth and raised her shield with all her strength to block the blow.

Even Diana, protected beneath the shield, began bleeding from the corner of her mouth.
She felt the divine power throughout her body scattering apart.
