"Is anyone there?"
When General Zod arrived outside the Kents' farm, he called out loudly and politely.
In the past, he would have probably charged right in, killing anyone who stood in his way.
But after a month of rural life, he felt that he should not be so hot-tempered. Looking for something was one thing; being polite would not kill anyone, and it could save him quite a bit of trouble.
"Who are you?"
Martha Kent pushed Jonathan Kent's wheelchair out of the house.
Seeing a group of Kryptonians dressed like cowboys outside, she asked in confusion.
"Hello. We came because we heard that an unidentified flying object crashed onto your farm over thirty years ago. We would like to investigate it."
As a woman, Fiona was relatively better suited for communication.
"No, that never happened."
Since it involved Clark, the couple was extremely wary. The moment they heard this, guarded expressions appeared on their faces.
But the more they acted like that, the more General Zod and the others felt that things were not so simple.
"Do not be like this, my friends. We came with conclusive evidence. That does not belong to you. Please do not make things difficult for us. I do not like using violence."

When the Kents saw technology that was clearly not of Earth's style, their expressions changed dramatically.
They instinctively looked toward their barn.
Fiona immediately leaped forward and rushed into the barn, where she found the small spacecraft hidden beneath the hay.
