At last, a large hand reached through, pressed directly onto the Parademon's head, and dragged it back into the passage...
That day, a rumor spread among the Parademon army: on a planet in the galaxy named Earth, there was a terrifying monster that specifically fed on Parademons—humans!
That place would become a forbidden zone for Parademons, and likewise a forbidden zone for the Apokolips Divine Race.
The great Steppenwolf slept forever upon that seemingly ordinary planet, while the invincible Parademon Legion met its ruin there.
There were no survivors, no remains—only legends passed down by word of mouth from the final warrior who had been dragged back.
From then on, "Earth" became an unspeakable taboo on Apokolips, usually referred to instead as "the Mysterious Planet," "the Demon King Planet," or "that planet."

After defeating Steppenwolf's army and finally having Jian Xiong and the seven laborers deliver the finishing blows, Bruce more or less declared victory in this battle.
