"Phew, phew..."
Having barely escaped the pursuit, the bald agent and the other three exchanged wry smiles.
Who would have thought their luck could be this bad? The first target they picked at random had turned out to be a group of aliens!
And those aliens seemed to have some kind of misunderstanding about people in skintight suits. The moment they met, they started firing biubiu shots without even giving them a chance to explain.
Each of the four had nearly burned through at least one recovery. It was truly a disaster out of nowhere.
Especially for the bald agent. This loss was undoubtedly making things worse for someone already so poor.
"Alright, maybe our initial approach was wrong. Why did we have to look for gang members?"
Brown said between heavy breaths.
Gang members usually meant danger, and if there were aliens among them, then it was only natural for them to possess those high-tech alien weapons.
If that was the case, they should just target ordinary shops!
New York might have a high gun ownership rate, but with Reinforcement Suits and their own combat instincts, they could practically ignore ordinary firearms!
"That's right. We don't need much money anyway, just enough to pay the rent. Let's pick any old shop."
"Yeah. It's only a short-term business anyway. We'll leave once the mission is done, so who cares whether we get arrested or not?"
After getting burned once, the group began selecting a new target.
A bank?
The target was too conspicuous. And if they made too big a mess, they might get surrounded and chased down. That would be more trouble than it was worth.
They didn't need that much money!
After ruling out the bank, they found a cellphone store to the left and a convenience
