Before it lay the mortal world of humanity; behind it was a sorrowful land of beasts; to its left appeared the myriad beings of the demon race; to its right echoed the lamentations of evil fiends. It seemed to encompass all living beings and the Myriad Heavens and Worlds within itself.
Every strand of past karma that had yet to be severed became a phantom.
There was Ananda, the Demon Buddha, and Thor.
The past connected to The Fisherman, the shackles that made one unable to act of one's own will—all of it emerged, trying to resist Meng Qi's slash and bind him once more.
