Xu Yue's reappearance at Stark Industries meant absolutely nothing to most people, but to certain individuals who had been keeping an eye on the place, it prompted quite different reactions.

As Iron Man, a S.H.I.E.L.D. consultant, and one of the Avengers' dependable Earth-based superheroes, Tony had always received the "special attention" of that one-eyed Black man.

The moment Xu Yue showed his face at Stark Industries, his file was placed on the desk in the S.H.I.E.L.D. director's office, giving the man a tremendous headache.

To ordinary S.H.I.E.L.D. personnel, he was merely a former consultant with Level Six Authority. That authority seemed to have been revoked after the Battle of New York, yet he had not been treated as a traitor. It appeared only that he had been deemed unsuitable for the position.

It seemed he had not even been forced to sign any sort of confidentiality agreement.

Those who knew a little more seemed to know that he was a hero as well, though apparently a rather low-level one. He seemed to be called Delivery Man, a name Iron Man himself had coined.

Those with even higher clearance knew he was Asgard's chef.

However, no orders had come down from above regarding the matter, so the agents below made no independent arrangements. After discovering that he had appeared at Stark Industries again, they merely submitted it as routine intelligence. None of them considered the sorrowful state of mind of that one-eyed Black man.

That troublesome fellow had returned. It seemed Asgard's Rainbow Bridge had been repaired.

The origins of both Project Insight and even the Avengers could be traced to the impact Asgard had had on that one-eyed Black man.

He had realized that the Earth of the past was like a beautiful young woman stripped naked before Asgard—utterly defenseless.
