After Neo awakened and defeated Agent Smith, Xu Yue held off the Mechanical Squids and returned with disabled machines for the crew to salvage.

• Jiaren’s allies betrayed him, and Teruhito killed him at his rebirth site before taking the throne with Muren’s support.
• Muren summoned Tsukuyomi, then ascended to the higher realm while Xu Yue took most of Tsukuyomi’s power and Teruhito began friendly policies toward Great Xia.
• Xu Yue entered The Matrix as a wealthy financial king, seized Neo, and fought Agents while Morpheus’s crew extracted them from the virtual world.
• Xu Yue trained Neo and helped Morpheus’s crew evade Agents and Labor Knights’ Reincarnators, while they uncovered Regan’s betrayal.
• Xu Yue and the crew rescued Morpheus, but Agent Smith killed Neo before Xu Yue urged him to rise and awaken to the Matrix’s data.

After Xu Yue killed Howard’s group, Neo learned that Zion had been destroyed and rebuilt repeatedly and faced the choice between returning to the Source of Code or opposing the system.

• Xu Yue bought Hoover Dam and negotiated access to the Ice Man Project after Area 7 revealed the Seed of Fire was hidden there.

• FBI agents arrested Maggie and Fatty Hacker after they uncovered Area 7 data, then took them with the Minister to Hoover Dam.
• As the Supreme Divine Court and other Reincarnators moved to investigate the Glasses, the Minister and Area 7 arrived at Hoover Dam, where the dam shook, its electrical equipment failed, and Frenzy called for reinforcements.

The Reincarnators and Autobots fought over the Seed of Fire, then united against The Fallen’s plan to extinguish Earth’s sun and revive Optimus Prime. Xu Yue revealed his overwhelming power and identity as a Reincarnator, then began scrambling the others’ memories and experiences.

• At Hoover Dam, Kariel seized and sealed the Seed of Fire, then allied with Megatron and the Reincarnators against the Autobots before the eight Titan creations forced her to flee with Nakayama Shion.
• Nakayama Shion negotiated an alliance between the Decepticons and the Supreme Divine Court, while Xu Yue secured the Reincarnators’ support for Zion Group and sent them to hunt the surviving Decepticons.
• In New York, Albert trapped Kariel and Nakayama Shion with Doomsday Judgment, but they escaped, and Xu Yue extinguished Megatron’s spark by sending the Seed of Fire’s power into him.
• The Reincarnators found Skyfire and learned that The Fallen planned to extinguish Earth’s sun, while The Fallen’s forces killed Optimus Prime and began preparing the Stellar Alchemy Array.
• Xu Yue and Skyfire led the Reincarnators and Transformers beneath the pyramid, where Kariel, the Reincarnators, and The Fallen clashed over Optimus Prime’s remains.
