Xu Yue helped turn the battle for New York against the Chitauri into a fight against the Reincarnators, then ended his mission with the Space Stone and a failed promotion. Back in the Reincarnation Space, he joined a Beiyang Army operation in the Shinobi World to pass the Chunin Exams and pursue his own plans in Konoha.

• Thor and the Avengers fought Loki and the Chitauri as Tendo Xu Yue attacked both sides, drawing Ancient One and the battle into the Astral Dimension.
• The Avengers and Reincarnators joined forces against Tendo Xu Yue, but Xu Yue arrived, destroyed the Chitauri forces, and absorbed the Six Paths Xu Yue with Kamui.
• Xu Yue closed the portal with Loki’s scepter, merged the Space Stone with Kamui Space, then killed Shirley and seized Ego's seed before ending his stay.
• Xu Yue returned to the Reincarnation Space, prepared new production lines, trained, and accepted a Beiyang Army assignment to help establish contact with Uchiha Yue.
• Zhang Xueyou arranged a make-up promotion mission in the Shinobi World, where Xu Yue’s task was to pass the Chunin Exams and become a Chunin.
• Xu Yue reached Konoha, secured a genin identity through Takigakure, and used contacts including Tsukishiro Jubei and Zhang Zuolin while pursuing his own plans.
• Xu Yue collected a scroll from Orochimaru, warned Hiruzen about a possible threat to Konoha, and later discussed a secret realm with Zhang Zuolin.
• Tsukishiro Jubei reported that Akatsuki included Uchiha Itachi and Orochimaru, and Xu Yue suggested that Jubei might become a Ninja Killer.

Xu Yue led Team 7 through the Land of Waves mission and into the Chunin Exams while managing Reincarnator plots and guiding his students’ growth. After the Forest of Death, ten teams remained, and Gekko Hayate began explaining the preliminary matches.

• Xu Yue uncovered Reincarnator schemes around Konoha and was assigned to lead Team 7, where he trained Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura.
• Xu Yue stopped Donnie from taking Tazuna away and led Team 7 on the Land of Waves mission, where he fought Zabuza and protected Naruto from Reincarnators.
• Xu Yue ended the Land of Waves mission after the Nine-Tails’ Chakra surged out of Naruto, then returned with Team 7 for the Chunin Exams.
• Xu Yue joined Zhang Tao and Huang Qiang in guiding Reincarnators through the exam and prepared Bao Ji for her Demon Slayer Ninja class.
• Naruto’s resolve helped the candidates pass the first exam, and Xu Yue’s group entered the Forest of Death, where they fought Orochimaru’s disguised subordinates.
• Orochimaru attacked Naruto and targeted Sasuke, whose cursed seal later drove him to overpower other contestants before Xu Yue knocked him and the nearby Genin unconscious.
• Xu Yue’s group escorted Team 7 through the forest, exposed Kabuto’s staged cooperation, and helped Sasuke’s team obtain a Heaven scroll despite Sasuke’s injury.
• Only ten teams remained after the second round, and Gekko Hayate explained the preliminary match rules.

Xu Yue gathered power on the moon and intervened in Konoha’s exam and invasion while Reincarnators targeted the village and Zhang Zuolin. Zhang Zuolin was left surrounded by Zhang Delan, Fujiwara, and Situ Ba until a familiar figure in a Cat Face Mask appeared to protect him.

• Sasuke defeated Akado Yoroi, Shino forfeited against Xu Yue, and Rock Lee lost to Gaara after opening the Eight Gates.
• Xu Yue killed Kabuto’s attacker, helped Rock Lee recover, and joined Zhang Zuolin on a hidden journey to the moon, where he defeated Toneri and seized the Tenseigan.
• Xu Yue defeated the Otsutsuki Elder, took the Giant Tenseigan into his Kamui Space, and checked on Kaguya’s seal while his Wood Clone disrupted the exam preparations.
• Orochimaru and Scorpion attacked Rasa, but Xu Yue’s Asura Path defeated their forces and kept Rasa alive.
• Xu Yue delayed his match with Sasuke, and Naruto defeated Neji before Xu Yue’s illusion stopped Sasuke and Gaara from fighting as the Konoha invasion began.
• Xu Yue accepted the Return to Balance quest, killed Blood Hand and Dark Sickle, and waited outside the barrier as the invasion unfolded.
• Fujiwara awakened Shukaku, but Zhang Zuolin killed him and was then trapped and weakened by Chief Steward Zhang, Zhang Delan, and Situ Ba.
• Jiong Jiong killed Situ Ba, but Zhang Delan restored phantoms of Situ Ba and Fujiwara, leaving Zhang Zuolin surrounded until a Cat Face Mask figure appeared.

Xu Yue helped Konoha survive the invasion, backed Tsunade’s return as Hokage, and pursued Sasuke after he left the village. He defeated the Reincarnators who interfered with the pursuit and let Sasuke depart after confronting him in Tsukuyomi, then carried the unconscious Naruto back to Konoha.

• Xu Yue defeated Fujiwara and Situ Ba, revealed his face to erase the witnesses, and secured Zhang Zuolin and Jiong Jiong’s cooperation through contracts and Kotoamatsukami.
• Konoha routed the invaders, the Sand Village surrendered, and the leaders chose Tsunade as Hokage after Hiruzen stepped down.
• Xu Yue met Tsunade and joined her confrontation with Orochimaru, while six Reincarnators tried to exploit the Sannin’s weakened state and Xu Yue killed them.
• Tsunade returned to Konoha as Hokage, and Xu Yue joined the pursuit team after Sasuke left with the Sound Four.
• Xu Yue and the Genin fought the Sound Four and Kimimaro as three Reincarnators followed them, hoping to capture Gaara and Naruto.
• Xu Yue defeated the Reincarnators after they sealed Gaara in a coffin, then found Naruto and Sasuke unconscious after their battle at the Valley of the End.
• Xu Yue trapped Sasuke in Tsukuyomi, revealed his Mangekyo Sharingan, and let him leave for Orochimaru before carrying Naruto back to Konoha.
