• Black Blood powers gathered to destroy the Heaven Sealing Platform while the gods of Great Shang prepared for a last stand.
• Xu Yue returned in the Human Emperor Palace as the Black Blood powers attacked, then absorbed five attackers after revealing that he had mastered Black Blood.
• Xu Yue summoned the Zhu Xian Sword Array, annihilated most of the Black Blood forces, and absorbed them until his cultivation reached the peak of Creation.

Meng Qi watched Black Blood-corrupted powers slaughter the Nine Nethers and considered how Xu Yue’s strength and intentions might affect his own path to the Other Shore. Meanwhile, the Demon Lord took Nine Spirits Yuan Sheng’s advice and saw a chance to attain the Dao during Muscle Heavenly Venerate’s attempt.

• Meng Qi saw Black Blood-corrupted great powers massacre the Nine Nethers while its will empowered them, and he recognized that Xu Yue had likely acted to protect Great Shang and signal an alliance.
• Gu Xiaosang warned Meng Qi that Xu Yue’s rise would draw opposition from Amitabha, Bodhi Academy, and other heavenly wills, and Meng Qi decided to wait before attempting to attain the Dao.
• Meng Qi watched the Nine Nethers’ Dark Turmoil spread as Junior Master Luo joined the slaughter and the corrupted powers faced little resistance.

• Zhou Mingrui performed the luck-transfer ritual and returned above the Gray Fog, where he accidentally summoned three people at once.
• Xu Yue, Audrey Hall, and Alger Wilson appeared before Zhou Mingrui, who claimed their gathering was an experiment and offered to send them back on request.
