When Tomorrow Suddenly Became Worth Looking Forward To
Yu Sheng wasted no time. After getting confirmation from Little Red Riding Hood, he directly opened a door in the corridor in front of Rapunzel and Xiao Xiao (and, of course, filed a report with a single click while he was at it).
A phantom door glowing faintly appeared out of thin air. An unfamiliar landscape lay on the other side.
"Wow..." Rapunzel's eyes instantly widened. She stared at the scene before her in astonishment. "What... is this?"
Maintaining the door, Yu Sheng casually asked, "My ability. Didn't Little Red Riding Hood tell you about it?"
"Um, she did mention it a little, but I didn't expect it to be like this." The astonishment on Rapunzel's face still hadn't faded. Her curiosity grew as she looked through the door. "What's on the other side?"
"Interested? You can come along." Yu Sheng smiled and openly invited her, then turned his gaze to Xiao Xiao. "Want to go over and play? It's hard to find somewhere that spacious in Boundary City."
Xiao Xiao immediately raised her head and looked at her "guardian" with an inquisitive yet cautious gaze.
Little Red Riding Hood was filled with confusion. For some reason, the scenery beyond the door seemed vaguely familiar, but she couldn't be certain because of the angle. However, after noticing the ambiguous smile on Yu Sheng's face, she was sure it was a safe place. So, after hesitating briefly, she nodded at Rapunzel. "Come along. Since Yu Sheng said you can go too, there shouldn't be any danger."
"Um... okay. Then I'll go tell the others first. I'll be right back!"
