Snow White was the first to spot Yu Sheng. She immediately waved and called out to him, and many of the children turned to look in this direction. Only then did they begin acting like normal children, showing surprise and curiosity as they chattered among themselves or asked the older boys and girls beside them a whole host of questions. Some children who had met him before even cried out happily, looking delighted and excited.
Yu Sheng hurried over. He had no time to care about Snow White calling him "Door-Opening Bro." Instead, he crossed over the heads of the group of little ones and went straight to Little Red Riding Hood, his expression solemn as he looked her up and down.
Little Red Riding Hood froze under his gaze and instinctively asked, "What's wrong?"
"Where's Xiao Xiao?" Yu Sheng asked quickly.
"She's in that line." Little Red Riding Hood raised a hand and pointed toward the group of children. "She's the one at the very end."
Yu Sheng immediately turned around and saw the thin, petite girl standing in a line of five- or six-year-old children. She had a little backpack on her back and a pink water bottle hanging around her neck, and she was waving vigorously at him.
"I just entered an illusion of the Black Forest." Yu Sheng smiled and waved at Xiao Xiao. When he turned back to Little Red Riding Hood, his expression had already grown grave. "I thought you or Xiao Xiao had accidentally entered a 'subset'..."
Little Red Riding Hood opened her mouth in surprise but was unable to say anything for a moment.
"It looks like the leakage conditions are changing. Even though the 'protagonists' haven't entered the dreamscape, the subsets corresponding to them have begun leaking into reality." Yu Sheng
