The display window reflected only the normal street scenery. The avenue was deserted after the emergency lockdown, and there seemed to be nothing unusual.
Yu Sheng took out his phone and tried calling the number he had received earlier—but, unsurprisingly, there was no service.
The communications blackout brought by the Otherworld did not weaken merely because they had approached its "entrance." So far, aside from No. 66 Wutong Road and its affiliated spaces, which were special Otherworlds, there had been no exceptions.

Little Red Riding Hood shook her head solemnly.
"The entrance is already closed. The biggest problem now is that we can't determine which Otherworld it was, so we can't determine the conditions for entering either," she said slowly. "It's really strange... How could it leave no trace at all? In theory, there should always be some lingering aura. My wolves should have been able to sense it..."
"How are incidents like this normally handled, when someone gets swallowed by an unknown Otherworld? Is there a rescue procedure?" Yu Sheng asked.
"First, of course, you determine which Otherworld the victim fell into. Then, based on that, you determine the conditions for entering and leaving the Otherworld and the current location of its entrance," Little Red Riding Hood answered casually. "If it has a fixed entrance, like the museum we visited before, you can enter directly once you meet the conditions. If it has an entrance that constantly changes, you need tracking methods. I have my wolves, while most Spirit Realm Detectives and investigators don't have it so easy. They really need to use some 'detection' and 'investigation' methods. As for the Special Operations Bureau..."
