Luo gradually regained consciousness amid a wave of dizziness, but her mind was still muddled, and she had no idea where she was. After a long while, she finally managed to pull herself together, only to discover that she was lying in an open area that looked like a small plaza.

Her head spun again. Then she saw two children crouching beside her, lowering their heads to stare at her with huge, curious eyes. Several red-eyed dwarfs—the evil dwarf's duplicates—stood beside her head as well, looking down at her with those frightening, evil, dead-fish eyes. At least, that was how Luo saw them.
Luo shuddered and instantly snapped fully awake. She rolled over and sprang up. "Ah!"
