Marin quickly prepared to perform a postoperative examination on the "patient."
Under her guidance, Eileen (blonde) sat down on the alloy platform again. Maris sat beside her, and then a group of mechanical arms rose from the edge of the platform and began connecting several cables to the back of Maris's neck and the area near her keyhole.
Yu Sheng watched the mechanical arms busily wire up the servo robot and grew curious. "Wait, wasn't Eileen the one getting examined...?"
"Maris is the analysis host, so she has to participate in the examination," Marin explained. "She also has the guidance module for the Garden Network installed. Eileen has been disconnected from the Garden Network for too long, and she herself no longer remembers anything about it. Without assistance, she'd probably have trouble even cooperating with the examination."
Yu Sheng gave an enlightened "oh." Eileen, who was sitting on the platform and watching the servo robot being wired up beside her, suddenly turned her head and looked eagerly at Marin. "Hey! Do I need to be wired up too? Where do I connect?"
"Of course you need to be connected too." Marin nodded and walked toward the platform. "I'll help you."
Seeing this, Yu Sheng hurried over with curiosity as well. He had no idea what Marin meant by an "examination," but he was genuinely interested in "where to plug the wires."
Then he watched Marin pull a slender cable flickering with a faint light from a recessed slot somewhere along the platform's edge and bring its connector toward the back of Eileen's neck.
Two seconds later, Marin was still standing there with a baffled look on her face.
Blonde-haired Eileen felt no movement behind her and twisted her neck curiously. "Hey, sister, what are you doing?"
"That's not right..." Marin
