Yu Sheng woke up to find Eileen sprawled out at one corner of the foot of the bed, while her picture frame sat on the bedside table nearby, propped against the wall.
Yu Sheng sighed. In the end, he hadn't managed to drive this doll out the previous night—the main reason being that every time he tried to carry her to the door, she would throw a huge tantrum. It had been enough to make his brain ache.
After another deep sigh, and seeing that Eileen showed no sign of waking, Yu Sheng stuck out his foot and kicked her twice.
"Get up. If you don't, I'm taking your picture frame away and making you go sleep in the painting."
Eileen, sprawled out at the foot of the bed, finally moved. She slowly sat up, her hair a complete mess, and looked at Yu Sheng sleepily. "Good morning... Hey..."
"Good morning, my foot! It's almost noon!" Yu Sheng resisted the urge to kick the unfortunate doll off the bed. "Do you know how many times you rolled around last night?! You're a doll, so needing sleep is already strange enough. How can you even sleep so restlessly?"
"I don't know. Yaaawn—" Eileen rubbed her eyes, stretching as she muttered, "Don't be so fussy. I'm so pretty, and you still don't want to sleep in the same room as me..."
Yu Sheng stared at the tiny thing, only 66.6 centimeters tall, cold sweat covering his forehead. His temples throbbed. "You're not very big, but your ego sure is. Do you even know what you're saying?"
Eileen didn't care in the slightest. With her hair hanging loose, she crawled in front of Yu Sheng, lowered her head, and said with complete confidence, "Comb my hair."
A vein throbbed at Yu Sheng's temple.
