Yuan Yujun leads the Snow Moon Cloud Heaven Pavilion, an ancient and influential women-centered sect with deep historical ties to White Mist Country. As Pavilion Master, she holds enough authority to shield Ling Wuyuan from the consequences of destroying three hostile families in Black Stone City, arranging an isolation array and promising to resolve the aftermath herself. 198

She discovered Pei Yi after the latter escaped pursuit and joined the Pavilion. Recognizing Pei Yi's special physique as exceptionally compatible with the sect's cultivation methods, Yuan Yujun took her as a personal disciple and candidate for the next Pavilion Master. 198 296
