Water had no fixed form, and the Snowball could transform into any shape.
Under the savage man's relentless pursuit and attacks, it was sometimes flattened and sometimes stretched long. Whenever it accidentally slammed into a tree trunk or mountainside, its body would turn into a puddle of water that slid downward.
Once that puddle gathered together on the ground, a new Snowball would once again jump up in a daze, confused and muddle-headed. It shook the few sparkling water droplets from its head and began another round of escape.

As the Snowball fled, it kept making spitting motions with its mouth, spitting out one colorful, crystalline bubble after another.
Those bubbles were jellyfish—the source that could rapidly split apart and produce more water elements.
Under its valiant counterattack, the water elements in the illusion grew more numerous and densely packed. Everyone's breathing and movements began to be affected. Breathing became increasingly difficult, and their running speed grew slower and slower.
The savage man was a top-tier Withered-Prosperity Realm expert, and he also had the Gu Diao, a mount as swift as lightning and skilled at concealment, helping him with the pursuit. Yet things were not going as he wished; even now, he had achieved nothing.
Countless times, the Snowball had been within reach, and several times he had already caught it and held it in his arms. But the little thing was simply too mischievous and too formidable. After struggling a few times, it would slip out between his fingers or through the gaps in his grip.
Though he failed time and again, the savage man still refused to give up. Riding the Gu Diao, he stayed close behind the Snowball, looking as though he would never rest until he had captured it.
