Gao De contained the Pale Water Blossom, earned Etheran and Fos Academy’s badges, and helped Eli and Jabir bring the Breathing Furnace toward the Northern Territory. After returning to Dorn City, he was promoted to Lieutenant and began preparing for Third Circle advancement.

• Gao De helped Ella recover Cold Condensation Fragrance from the Pale Water Blossom, then received advancement potions and spell formulas as his reward.
• Gao De challenged Etheran Academy’s third-stage defender, Ella, and defeated her to claim the academy badge.
• In Jinliu City, Gao De tracked down Eli and learned about Jabir’s Breathing Furnace, then urged Jabir to take the invention to the Northern Territory and offered Eli work managing his businesses.
• Gao De challenged Fos Academy’s Lorraine and used spells and close combat to exhaust his defenses, winning the academy badge.
• Eli agreed to manage Gao De’s enterprises, while Jabir chose to travel to the Northern Territory and improve the Breathing Furnace.
• Lieutenant General Kellen and Lieutenant Colonel Grayling promoted Gao De to Lieutenant after his victories at three academies, and Gao De said he would pursue Third Circle advancement before continuing the challenge.
• Gao De exchanged merits for spell formulas, offered Melia a position as his semi-dedicated clerk, and asked her to prepare a résumé for their joint application.

Gao De expanded the Northern Territory’s currency and industries, advanced to the Third Circle, and began fusing spells. He returned to the academy circuit, won Avalon’s trials, and left the Shadow Rot Swamp with a mysterious fragment and new resistance to its miasma.

• Gao De accepted Gao De’s offer to become his agent, taking charge of Walmart Magic Materials Shop’s expansion in Vantorenn District while keeping tree-seed purchases a priority.
• Gao De and his officials rolled out currency across the Northern Territory, introduced paid work and fair-price exchanges, and began preparing to make coins necessary for taxes and fines.
• Gao De advanced Truefrost Secrets to the Third Circle, awakened Myriad Law Resonance, and later advanced Evergreen Longevity Sutra to the Third Circle as well.
• Gao De developed Resonant Casting, fused Magic Missile+ and Ice Bolt into Magic Ice Bullet, and stored the combination in a Resonance Imprint.
• Gao De investigated a Truefrost pillar containing a living creature, then visited Jabir’s workshop and Lainey’s new research institute as the Northern Territory’s industrial and scientific work progressed.
• Gao De returned to Avalon Academy, defeated its three defenders with his spells, earned the academy badge, and revealed himself as a Third Circle Mage.
• Gao De explored Shadow Rot Swamp, recovered a dark silver fragment marked with an incomplete character and an empty magic-circle socket, and adapted to the miasma until his Intermediate Amber Physique could absorb it as nourishment.
• Gao De retrieved a Fourth Order Purple Violet Root, left the swamp, gathered ingredients for Third Circle Spell Elixirs, and reviewed the bloodline spells awakened by Truefrost Secrets.

Gao De collected all twelve Academy Badges, uncovered a mysterious antique, and was drawn with Liu Ying into the Silent Desolate Soul Domain. They traveled toward its central tower, where they found Mordecai's Soul Runes and research notes, while learning that time passed much faster in the domain.

• Gao De defeated Rody at Morrison Academy, won challenges across several counties, and surpassed the Challenger Mage record before arriving in the City of Glory.
• Gao De defeated Karen at Glory Academy, then bought a damaged dial after Eevee sensed hidden Astral Energy in it.
• Gao De researched the dial in the City of Glory and linked its craftsmanship to Lottie’s unknown Ultimate Creation before traveling to Mithril City.
• Gao De defeated Xiao Lun at Liuge Academy and collected all twelve badges, then met Liu Ying at the Obsidian Merchants Guild after she exposed its fake Starlight Pendant.
• A mage from the Holy Empire pulled Gao De and Liu Ying into the Silent Desolate Soul Domain, where their magic and Mystic Items failed and Withered Soul Energy threatened them.
• Gao De and Liu Ying sought shelter in Stone Towers, fought Withered Soul Servants, and Gao De helped treat Liu Ying’s wounds and ease her thirst with his blood.
• Gao De and Liu Ying followed the tower network to the central Stone Tower, where they found Mordecai’s Soul Runes and research notes.
• Liu Ying told Gao De that time passed six and a half times faster in the Silent Desolate Soul Domain than in the Mage Plane.
