After entering South Sea City, Bob was the first to voice his disbelief.
He remembered that when he and the former Black Dragon Duke had set foot here, they had been greeted by a swarm of terrifying monsters the moment they entered. At the time, he had been part of the rear guard stationed around the city gates. It was a thankless, exhausting job, but it had ultimately saved his life!
He remembered commanding the troops on the outskirts and preparing to rescue the Duke. But the moment he saw the tide of monsters instantly overwhelm the main force inside, he had been so terrified that he immediately fled in panic with his men!
Fleeing without a fight was a knight's disgrace, but in that situation, who could have spared a thought for knightly honor?
Now that they had returned here, Bob had no intention of fleeing again. Even if he had to face that terrifying scene once more, he intended to uphold the knight's creed and meet death head-on!
But he never expected things to look like this.
