Why was it called a myth? The main reason was that what the other two elven royal clans possessed was simply too unbelievable.
Among the three great elven clans, the Wood Elves represented life. There was nothing wrong with that. In many worlds, elves were crystallized lifeforms that happened to emerge at the beginning of creation. Relying on their own vigorous life force, they attracted powerful creatures to coexist and grow alongside them. This was how most elves began. Even though many scholars considered the claim that the Wood Elves later came to represent the entire life system of the Material Dimension exaggerated, it still had some basis.
The other two, however, were much more far-fetched.
The Fairy Elves represented space-time. According to legend, after developing into a royal clan, the elves of this race could freely travel through and control the universe's Space Channels!
Space Channels were still believable enough. After all, much of the Space Technology used today originated from the ancient Elf Civilization. But Time Channels were a little too absurd. Time reversal existed only as a fallacy in science fiction. At least so far, no one in the universe—not even the Celestial God Academy—had claimed to control space-time technology.
After all, if such a thing could be controlled, how could the Elf Civilization have gone extinct? The past could be changed infinitely at any time, couldn't it?
And then there were the Moon Elves...
Compared with the more absurd Fairy Elves, the existence of the Moon Elves had the support of some scholars.
According to legend, this was another elven civilization that rose by controlling the faith of native peoples. It was the complete opposite of the Wood Elves, who grew together with powerful creatures by strengthening the elements, matter, and even living beings through symbiosis.
