Ge Long had said the same thing after suddenly being separated into the New Fragment.
He had originally been quite close to his ally, Lanaia, but he had never expected that a moment of hesitation would result in him being directly reorganized into a new location. It seemed his plan to fish in troubled waters had gone up in smoke...
Ge Long frowned as he watched the surrounding space rapidly begin to particleize.
"Waah, waah, waah..." Dozens of Soap sloshed and bounced around in excitement. "What the heck is that thing? I was just curious and touched it once. How did it suddenly disappear?"
Ge Long: "..."
When the space beside them had shattered just now, this fellow had reached out and touched it. As a result, he had instantly been disintegrated along with it. He had some nerve, daring to touch it like that...
But thinking about it, he was only a split body anyway...
"Let's go..." Ge Long said indifferently. "The disintegration speed will keep increasing. We have to find the core fragment quickly."
"Oh, oh!" The group of Soap hurriedly followed obediently behind Ge Long. As he looked at the many identical Soaps, Ge Long couldn't help feeling somewhat perplexed. He wondered whether this fellow had been assigned to the same fragment or randomly scattered across multiple fragments.
He reckoned it was probably the latter. After all, when they calculated the strength of their forces, they probably wouldn't count an elf aberration of only a few levels. That made this fellow somewhat valuable. Once he left this fragment, he would certainly be assigned to a new one. If he could find other surviving Soaps in the New Fragment, he would be able to learn some information immediately...
