Just as Diana was about to ask, an utterly terrifying chill suddenly surged into her heart. Ysera, whose entire body had originally been emerald green, underwent a sudden transformation. Her crystal-clear scales began turning pitch-black, like ink spreading through clear water. Her body, once brimming with vibrant life, now radiated an eerie aura.
Not only that—the surrounding Fragment Worlds were changing in the same way. The name Emerald Dream had been given after the thing itself came into existence. From the outside, it looked like a colossal emerald-colored starry sky. Fragments brimming with life shimmered throughout the artificial void, and each fragment contained the birth of a new world. It was dreamlike and illusory, which was why the Five Dragon Kings had named it Emerald Dream.
But now, those emerald crystals overflowing with life had begun visibly turning black, just like the scales on Ysera's body, as though they had been infected by something...

Diana stood there dumbly, staring at Ysera's blackened form. She wanted to ask what was happening, but a chill rose in her heart. Her reason told her that the thing she should do now was flee immediately!
