The situation had been urgent. The instant Ysera was infected, she had immediately activated the final teleportation channel and sent herself away. During the teleportation, she had given Andrew the Emerald Crystal in her keeping, along with a message for him.
Although Diana did not know what message Ysera had given Andrew, judging from his attitude toward her afterward, Ysera seemed to have chosen to cooperate with Andrew.
