Vayne and Lanaia both froze, clearly shaken by Xi Ye's words.
"Are you sure?" Xi Ye continued asking.
"You..." Vayne was the first to recover. She took a deep breath and said, "You're joking, right?"
"I'm not joking." The sigils in Xi Ye's hands formed faster and faster, while the runes in midair rapidly rearranged themselves. A rune structure even the Headmaster behind him had never seen quickly spread across the entire area. Then countless images of clocks appeared all around them!

Vayne and Lanaia stared at their surroundings in shock. They discovered that something in the space they occupied was rapidly passing!
Even their bodies were undergoing tremendous changes along with that passing flow!

Watching their bodies begin to change uncontrollably, Vayne and Lanaia stared at Xi Ye in shock and wariness!
"A spacetime formation!" The Headmaster inhaled sharply and stared at the surroundings in astonishment. Those runes he had never seen before possessed fascinating arcane structures, and the power faintly formed within them was connected to the most uncontrollable of the many elemental forces: the laws of time.
Space Warlocks were the beings closest to the laws of time, because only the distortion of space offered hope of affecting the direction of time under certain circumstances. This was something the powers of other elements found very difficult to accomplish.
