Mira took the gift and led the others in thanking him.
Unlike the etiquette-conscious Star Elves, Thunder Warriors offered their thanks with exceptional gusto. Of course, they were just as brisk when accepting things.
Though Luo En held a high position, he rarely got to leave Teldrassil. He was rather unaccustomed to this straightforward style and found it quite fresh.
"This fellow is countless times older than Grandpa," Xi Ye said flatly. "And you can still bring yourself to call him big brother!"
Mira stuck out her tongue in embarrassment. "But he looks just like a big brother."
The smile on Luo En's face deepened. He felt that hearing this was actually rather pleasant.
"Cousin Xi Ye." Mira cautiously looked at this unfamiliar elder and asked softly, "Can we go over and take a look?"
Xi Ye glanced at Luo En. Luo En smiled and said, "Of course. Qing Feng is a gentle Elemental Spirit. Don't disturb it too much, and it won't hold it against you."
"Take a quick look and come straight back. Don't fall behind," Xi Ye instructed sternly.
"Thank you, big brother! Thank you, Cousin Xi Ye!" Mira said with a sweet smile. She quickly waved to the younger ones behind her, and the whole group, clutching their hard-won treasures, vanished in a flash.
In the distance, Gang Shi saw everyone holding a piece of amber. His eyes reddened with envy as he stared fixedly over there, wishing his youngest son would drop from the sky at once.
Unfortunately, even after Luo En put the remaining amber away, his youngest son was still nowhere to be seen.
Gang Shi gritted his teeth and could only hope that when they encountered him during the ceremony, the other party would remember to make up
