Deep underground, the Starfire Academy group proceeded cautiously. Yet the farther in they went, the more something felt wrong.
The lighting equipment was functioning normally, and the place was brightly lit. Moreover, the lighting used high-end energy with a thermal effect, so the base should have maintained its temperature. Yet the deeper they went, the more an inexplicable chill swept over everyone's bodies.
