At night, with the bright moon high in the sky, the waters of the Black River looked nothing like their usual calm selves beneath the pure moonlight. In many places along the banks, the once-clear river had turned scarlet, giving off a strange, fishy stench!
The shores on both sides were lined with Banshee priests—women with human heads and serpentine bodies. Holding hands, they sang voices of incomparable beauty. A barrier-like force began gathering around the Banshees and rapidly spread across the entire riverbank!
Then, stimulated by this force, the blood-colored algae cultivated along the banks rapidly swelled. Within a few minutes, the crimson algae had nearly filled the riverbanks completely. As they writhed, they looked both disgusting and horrifying.
The next second, countless spores burst from the swollen algae, carrying tiny tadpole-like creatures that quickly scattered throughout the river!
If one could venture deep into the riverbed, the scene below would be even more horrifying!
The blood-red tadpoles rapidly spread out. Whenever they encountered a living creature, they immediately attached themselves to it and burrowed straight through its skin into its body. In just a few seconds, the creature's skin began to twist and swell as if boiling, puffing up like a balloon!

The larger fish even ballooned into blood bubbles the size of boats and floated on the surface.
In an instant, the entire river was densely covered with floating blood bubbles, which gave off an intensely disgusting, fishy stench. Against the beautiful singing of the sea demons along the banks, the scene looked even more bizarre!
