Bron stared blankly at the circle he could not explain. All the power revolved around its center, pried and guided by an incredibly tiny force. It looked utterly inconceivable.

Though he could not explain it, Bron knew he could not let things continue like this. He had no idea where the other party's limit lay. The ratio being pried loose was at least one to a thousand, but who knew whether she could push it even higher? If this continued, then just as the Heart Demon had said, he would probably be the first to run out of strength!

Bron stopped hesitating and abruptly brought his hands together. Amid the swarm, the veins on his withered body bulged. It was as if countless insects were crawling through his blood vessels. The totem on his back wriggled lightly, while the enormous insect shadow underground slowly circled around. Though it was on the ground, it almost blotted out the sky, blanketing an area dozens of kilometers wide!

At this, the insect swarms that had originally surrounded the army in the distance retreated one after another, leaving behind a ground covered in shredded limbs and splattered flesh. The soldiers had no time to wipe the disgusting fluids from their bodies, and all of them stared at the ground in extreme tension!

"What is that thing?" one soldier asked fearfully, gripping his weapon. Feeling the energy remaining in his equipment, he barely found a trace of security.

Everyone felt a chill run through them in an instant. They all had the feeling that the enormous insect shadow was no illusion, as if it could crawl out at any moment and swallow them all in one bite!

"Quiet!!" The officer in charge of leading the group barely forced his blood energy
