She said it very softly, but the words made Xin Ya's heart sink, despite how overjoyed she had initially been.
The feeling was strange. The other party had clearly left her most of her assets, so she should have been thrilled. In fact, she had been planning how to live from the moment she received the ledger.
The villa was completely hers now. That meant she could host high-end banquets whenever she wanted. With so many points, and with the income from ongoing projects, what couldn't she spend them on?
And all that money was hers. She no longer had to carefully ask Little Black for money as she had before.
Wasn't this what she had always hoped for?
Then why did her heart feel so empty when Little Black said she probably wouldn't come back?
Did she want Little Black to leave? To be honest, after Little Black had left her money, she did. She didn't particularly like Little Black. The other party was such a lazy bum, yet she had managed to achieve so much, which made Xin Ya feel that this world was absurd. But now that the other party was leaving, she realized a few things.
The other party was leaving and wouldn't come back. She had given Xin Ya the wealth she had once dreamed of, along with the villa, without the slightest reluctance, as though none of it mattered to her.
Was it because she was generous?
No. That wasn't it.
"How can you not come back after going to school?" Xin Ya asked with a smile, unaware of how forced it was.
Little Black looked at her and fell silent for a while. The atmosphere grew extremely strange, but Xin Ya cooperated by saying nothing as well. The
