The Shan Kui was an ancient model released by Blue Spirit Academy in the previous era. It was now widely used in the mechanical forces of the various Great Lords, with its functions and weaknesses both extremely obvious!
First of all, the Shan Kui had astonishing burst power. It could burn through all its stored energy in an instant, unleashing a powerful burst. Its body also contained an exceptionally well-designed device for absorbing external energy, allowing it to quickly replenish itself by absorbing other people's energy. Its storage capacity was equally formidable—even energy several times greater than its own could be compressed and stored.
But its weaknesses were just as obvious. Because so much of its design was focused on storing and absorbing energy, its combat design was lacking. Its body was also made extremely rigid to accommodate the storage of massive amounts of energy, making the Shan Kui's movements highly monotonous. Its agility was far inferior to that of other mechas of the same tier, making it little more than a punching bag in mecha battles.
The Shan Kui had originally been designed to deal with large astral beasts or gigantic Ancient God giants. It had practically become a Divine Artifact for many new Great Lords opening up new territories. But using it in a team battle was basically impossible. Of course, most mecha squads still brought a few along to deal with any large creatures that might appear.
Who could have imagined that this kind of mecha would cut off his last hope of escape?!
As a Mecha Warrior major, Bern knew very well that although the Shan Kui was slow and clumsy, once that punching bag latched on, escape was practically impossible. Even those enormous astral beasts could not shake the thing off, let alone him!
But
