"Not convinced?"
Seeing Gou Dan struggling to stand, Sarah raised an eyebrow. "Ten years ago, after learning that your companions had been killed, you forced a breakthrough while remaining rational. With your combat talent, I even considered you my greatest future enemy. But look at you now. What the hell are you?"
Wang Gou Dan: "Whimper."
"Whimper my ass." Sarah covered her head, not even knowing what she was doing. Was she trying to knock some sense into her? What good would that do her? This woman...
Sarah glanced at her own blood-seeping body. Just taking those hits had left her in this state. Could anyone believe this was a dragonkin barely a hundred years old?
"You over there."
Sarah turned to Li Gou Dan. "Get this idiot out of here. If I see her like this again next time, she won't get a second chance!"
Li Gou Dan froze, then nodded. With a flash, she reached the two of them. Gou Dan glanced at her and hurriedly looked away.
Li Gou Dan rolled her eyes. She knows enough to be embarrassed?
"You really dare come closer? Aren't you afraid I'll attack you?" Sarah said coldly as she looked at Li Gou Dan.
"Probably not?" Li Gou Dan scratched her head and smiled.
"Why not?"
"You and Xiao Jia are very similar." Li Gou Dan smiled. "You're both the same kind of person. You wouldn't do something like that."
"Me and her?" Sarah rolled her eyes as well. "That idiot and I aren't the same kind of person." She paused, then asked, "Do you have a doctor?"
"We do!" Li Gou Dan smiled. "We have a very capable doctor. You'll soon see her full of energy again."
"Really?" Sarah looked at the evasive Wang Gou Dan. "Don't disappoint me again."
