On June 11, Egg Dog finally embarked on its maiden voyage, something Li Gou Dan had been eagerly anticipating. Everyone gathered on deck that day, gazing at everything with novelty and excitement.

The humans aboard came from the southern residents and northern engineers of the Steel Empire. As for adventures on the open sea, they had previously only heard about them in stories. Even the local sailors here had never taken their fishing boats more than a dozen kilometers from shore, too afraid to go farther.

Yet now they were sailing such a magnificent warship toward the legendary Western Islands, said to be incomparably prosperous. Everyone was filled with anticipation.
