The group began riding at full speed.

Before one student could finish, a strange figure suddenly sprang from the shadows behind him. Demonic energy roiled around it as it lunged at him, snapping at his neck. The sinister howling of the ghostly wind made everyone's hair stand on end.
The creature itself also carried a particularly strong stench of blood.
