"None of you are demons, so you don't know much about the Lord of Despair. You probably think he's just an ordinary, evil, powerful demon chief god. In reality, he's a mighty chief god far beyond anything you can imagine. You may have heard of the Lord of Frenzy's madness, the Lord of Cruelty's brutality, and the Lord of Death's indifference, but the Lord of Despair is different from all of them. The Lord of Despair's methods far surpass those of the famous chief gods. He prefers to inflict endless despair upon his enemies. You've all heard about what happened to the once-arrogant Lord of Anger, haven't you?"
"Of course we have. That insanely violent Lord of Anger suddenly went mad and began attacking other gods like crazy. In the end, several demon chief gods joined forces to knock him down in rank, and he fled into the Unknown Land. There's been no news of him since. From what you're saying, was the Lord of Despair involved?" Canghong Mountain Range asked.
Furious King nodded, fear showing on his face. "I was the Lord of Frenzy's trusted aide. Once, when the Lord of Frenzy was drunk, he said that even the demon chief gods suspected the Lord of Despair had used some unknown method to plunge the Lord of Anger into despair, after which he went mad."
"A peak chief god..." Oak Tree God muttered to himself.
"I don't like the Lord of Despair very much. He's a Psychic Monster, and he's best at toying with people's hearts." Canghong Mountain Range frowned.
"If nothing unexpected happens, the Lord of Despair will soon gather more than thirty gods and form a chief god alliance. That would be extremely disadvantageous for us," Furious King whispered.
Canghong Mountain Range impatiently glanced at Furious King.
